Glenworth Valley Agistment

Glenworth Valley is a horse agistment property unlike most others. Situated in the fertile hinterland region of the Central Coast, Glenworth Valley is just 1 hour north of the Sydney CBD, 20 minutes from Hornsby or Gosford and 45 minutes south of Newcastle.

Agistment at Glenworth ValleyThe property comprises 3000 acres of privately owned, unspoilt Australian bushland nestled amongst thousands of acres of National Park. Add to this beauty and tranquillity some of the best facilities this close to Sydney and you start to understand why Glenworth Valley is so special.

We are committed to providing quality agistment packages to suit individual needs and budgets. With more than 50 large, quality paddocks available we can offer several types of agistment ranging from spelling agistment, riding agistment and small group agistment through to agistment with full care.

All of our paddocks are large enough to accommodate the number of horses in each thus ensuring they are never overstocked. Agisted horses are kept on improved pastures that are weed free, regularly rotated, slashed, fertilised and irrigated where required. Winter active grasses are sown to ensure your horse has feed all year round saving you from expensive feed bills. Every paddock has horse safe fencing that is either post and rail or post and plain wire fencing only and are all well sheltered with either natural windbreaks and shade trees or quality man made structures.

At Glenworth Valley we pride ourselves on personal care and quality service for both you and your horse. Glenworth Valley provides a professionally run establishment offering everything for horse and rider needs alike. We offer a friendly, relaxed environment with no stringent times so you are able to visit your horse and use the facilities when it suits you best.

All our staff are highly experienced with a strong love of horses so you know your horse is in the best of hands. Our agistment managers live on-site to look after your horse while you're not there making horse ownership as hassle free as possible. They take care of regularly worming your horse and organise regular dentist visitations so all you have to do is turn up and get your happy, healthy horse from their paddock and enjoy your ride. Our agistment managers are available to help you whether you are an experienced horse owner wanting a second opinion or a first time owner needing advice and assistance regarding basic horse management practices.

We also want your time with your horse to be fun. Glenworth Valley regularly organises social rides (not to mention the impromptu ones that happen every week as agisters new and old make friends and explore the valley and surrounding national park together), adult riding clubs, junior riding club, natural horsemanship clinics, fun games days, agister gymkhanas and an end of year Christmas Party.

In addition to the regular activities organised for our agisters you might like to invite a friend to go for a ride with you. The valley is also the home of Australia's largest free range horse riding centre, where 200 quality horses are available for hire 7 days a week. The riding school is located in a completely separate area to the agistment, approximately 3kms away.

The horse riding centre also ensures that the friendly, experienced staff in the riding school are always there as a back up to offer help and advice. Our dedicated service to you and your horse is also supported by our administration staff who provide easy to understand account statements on the 15th of each month. A newsletter detailing forthcoming events and items of interest is distributed with your monthly accounts.

We believe you would be hard pressed to find any better or more natural environment for you and your horse. Personal inspections are always welcome so you can see this fantastic property for yourself.
